One of his poorest games for a long time (not sure what the sponsors where drinking, but it must have been strong) I thought Craig was excellent, and lathrope made a huge difference. A lot of his work goes unnoticed, but he operates that defensive midfield position superbly

Had a good day today, did my usual volunteering for TUFC before dressing up as Gilbert!
Went quite well apart from some kids unzipping it so I had my bum out all round the ground
Great match, Accrington had such an open defence we should have easily been in the double figures! (Even my fiance agreed and he never agrees with me!)
Then went in the club shop and bought the Home kit and car hanger :~D

What a **** ing terrible "song".

I said after the Wycombe match that the division this year is largely devoid of any real quality and that if we performed as we did last season, we'd be a very good team and I think that was shown today.
Accrington blew quite hard, but they were never in any danger of blowing down our house, even when we did our best to help them along for the 10 minutes before their goal. they seem to be approximately a benchmark for the rest of the teams here in L2 and I am convinced that last year's team (or this year's playing every week as we did yesterday) would be either top or second behind Gillingham already. The only side to impress me this year has been Cheltenham, and even they should have been dispatched, such was the volume of chances we created in that match.

Rather amusingly, a couple of Accrington fans described the awarding of the penalty as an awful decision. Having seen it on the FLS, it's just about the most blatant handball I've ever seen.

How good was the ball in from Nathan Craig for Billy's goal? I reckon he had a gap about a foot wide to hit from 30 yards and he got it first time, incredible.

I desperately hope we play like that against Useless next Saturday, that really will be a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon.

Bad news: Macklin broke his metatarsal yesterday, which is why he was limping and got subbed.

Gutted for Lloyd macklin, he hasa lot of stick from fans, and from the manger some of it deserved to be fair, however at last it looked like is had all come together for Lloyd and this was going to be his break through season, someone somewhere clearly has it in for the lad.

To be fair Mav not everyone votes with quality in mind, I put mansell in my top 5 purely on leadership and workrate, quality wise it wasn't Lee mansell's best day, but then if we go down that road.Why was Rene Howe in so many fans top 5, apart from his penalty his finishing was poor and after all thats what he is on the pitch for..but I get it, Rene's workrate and link up play and overall contribution to out attacking play was first class..he should atleast had 3 if not 4 goals on his own though.

Many, your good self included have described Nathan Craig as excellent, yet I counted atleast 6 long passes their may have been more from Nathan that went to no one, not even close to where the passes should have been...but again I get it, his workrate, short passing and overall contribution was like rene Howe first class, and that ball into Bodin for our second goal was about as good as it gets.

As far as the motm vote goes pretty much each to his/her own.

have the temerity to describe the best pass made all weekend (NC's ball in for Bodin's goal) as a "high ball into the 6 yard box". If bloody Rooney had made that pass, they'd still be hailing it as pass of the decade. Does my **** ing fruit, as if anyone and anything outside of Manchester must just be hit and hope.
