Fair play to everyone who did go down today but if any of them do start claiming those of us who decided not to are not real fans then they're deluded (or completely isolated from the current economic pressures).

That mini run of form was vital or we'd be as good as down now. If the club have no money to sack him then fine but we are going down if that is the case. It is clearly obvious. So we'll leave it up to the board to decide our fate.

Oh and the football I've seen this season has been far far worse than under Ling if that were possible.
I don't buy this can't afford to sack him notion, we can't afford to keep him surely we are not bottom by virtue of the fact that Northampton didn't play. Just tell him to stay at home and carry on paying him as little as we can, Bristol Rovers do it with all their managers they have sacked, let Mansell take the reigns if we can't afford to employ another at least he has passion. A new manager will increase attendances!

KNILL JUST GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

NOW

No it wasnt. It was sticking with a useless manager that cost us, again...........

I have better things to do on my Saturday mornings than listen to that rubbish, like fire staples into my nuts being one.

Couldnt be more depressed listening to that gloating oaf Sparkes - just don't know why I bother. The two wins were a false down - we have reverted to type. Two derbies we havn't even been close to getting ONE point in either of them.
Defeat today was allbut a certainty.
I am afraid there is basically no hope. We are going to be relegated. No hope,no money,no management structure. No bugger all.
We are completely and utterly clueless. That starts from the board, downwards.
Why don't we give up and shut up shop completely. Really I wouldn't give a shit if the club folded - whats the point of going on like this - its just embarassing - we are worse than we were when Roberts was in charge.

nickfrench82 wrote:Absolute rubbish. If anyone thinks we've got our tactics right, or that Knill deserves credit for trying his best to change the game then they clearly know very little about football. Whether we deserve to lose 3-1 to City or 2-0 to Plymouth is irrelevant, the only thing that matters is WE HAVE LOST THESE GAMES.

What is the point in thinking we've been unlucky, what is the point in playing 'a bit of alright stuff'(according to the scottish guy on the radio). The players have no belief, no confidence and no direction. The only way to change that is to get rid of the players, or get rid of the manager.

And there were people critisising those who weren't going today. I for one am glad I didn't ruin my New Year's Day.

I think we are going down, and feel let down by the people in charge of the club for the direction in which they are allowing us to drift.
:goodpost:

Utterly agree.

The Scottish bloke is doing my head in. He is perpetuating this ridiculous notion that we are unlucky.

If it IS going to change, well, WHEN exactly? How much longer? We have long passed the stage where enough is enough. We have long passed the stage where the position of the manager should have been untenable.

If the directors have to dig into their own pockets to pay him off, then so they should. They were the idiots who awarded this clown a contract that they cannot afford to pay off. It is their utter stupidity that is so needlessly costing us our league status. Alan Knill is NOT going to turn this around. It is just so bloody obvious and frustrating.

Plymouth have let us down badly, we needed them to score 5 for the board to realize that the clown will not get us out of this!

I'd like to see if those people will criticise us all tonight!

I've had a good afternoon at home with the family, saved myself a minimum of £30 and am sat in the warm, not fighting with 10,000 other people to get the hell out of Home Park in the wind and rain.

I'm hereby pledging that £30 to the club if they sack Alan Knill before Saturday

Feel sorry for those who made the trip - they after all the ones who deserved a victory more than us. I am certainly not going to gloat because I saved money - respect to those who turned up.
From my son at the game - all the Torquay fans were telling Knill to go with 20 minutes to go. We were a side just waiting to be beaten. Plymouth were equally as bad as we were.
Knill has no game plan at all. He bought on Stockley who is a centre forward and played him on the left wing when he had Craig or Cameron. Bodin was marked out the game and marooned on the wing being marked by two Argyle players.
We are clueless - Knill just waits for us to go a goal down before he does anything. Need I go on?
