I am actually quite liking G now the more i look at it and i suppose i can get used to the collar. I think Port Vale have their home kit also made by sondico and they too have the old fashioned collar and it doesn't look that bad when worn in all honesty so i'm happy with G. Sorry Chunky!
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

Well its seems C is having a late gain.
http://www.thisissouthdevon.co.uk/pick- ... story.html#

Can't help but think somebody is bending (more like destroying) the 1 vote rules here as it has gone from no-where to 20% in the last few days.

I hope (if this is the case) that the club and the newspaper are aware of it as if it is simply 1 person voting for what they want (and not the fan-base as a whole) it totally neglects the point of it and is extremely selfish act all together. Furthermore it could do substantial damage to the financial income of the club as it is simply not what the majority want or will buy. It could also majorly influence the clubs interaction with the fans to provide them with what they want – something we have all accused them of being guilty of in the past.

Changing your IP address continually to vote several times would not be a hard thing to do and my best guess would be this is what is happening here.

I think if anybody were actually doing this then they've got too much time on their hands Rich and it's a bit sorry. Like you say though it could be happening. I want B but am not going to spend all night voting over and over again to ensure it wins. I've had my vote and that's that and if it is to be G then i shall buy it despite me saying otherwise when the shirts were first released. It has grown on me and i really like it. The collar is a negative but i reckon it shouldn't look TOO antiquated. Fans should have their vote and accept the winning shirt as a victory for democracy, they don't have to buy it if they don't like it. I usually buy every shirt regardless as i like to collect them and also it is money to the club but the last home shirt didn't warrant retail, it was truly awful in every way and it is the only one i haven't bought in 8 years. It was just so, so bad that i couldn't justify parting with any money for it. I wouldn't even buy it reduced. That is my choice but at least with next seasons shirt it is one which ALL fans have had an opportunity of input and we've got to praise the club for that.

C and D are rubbish, and E is dull...

Any of the others would be okay by me, but please let it be G.

STOP THE VOTE NOW, the fans have spoken!

But when the fans spoke many were taking into account which shirt design looked best with the Sparkworld logo.
On that basis we can only speculate whether the vote will indeed be stopped and declared 'null and void'.

It may be judged that a prospective new sponsors logo would look a complete mess with stripes as a background.
I think the best we can hope for is that no new sponsor is signed up too soon so that sponsorless shirts have to be
manufactured and sold to us in the Summer (i.e sometime before Christmas hopefully) and then the Club completes a
mega-deal with Monsanto, not only swelling the coffers but also providing us with some genetically modified grass that will
grow all year round and keep the Plainmoor pitch in tip-top condition.

I detest the design of G, just as much as I disliked it the first time around. Pretty straightforward though - if they go with G, I just won't get one.

Very simple.

Sorry all! Just seen the story on the OS now. If we don't get a sponsor on board before the shirt is released does that mean the shirt will go on sale without it or will they hold back until it's all done? Is there any likelihood of this happening?

I didn't realise that you could also submit a vote by e-mail to the club. Without knowing how many e-mails they've had, and without seeing how many votes have actually been cast on the Herald website, it's really rather difficult to say which design will win. All I know is C is rubbish. Come on the G!

if somebody can do this with regards to C then who is to say nobody has done it to put G in the lead.still most people i have spoke to do not rate G. I said before online voting can be manipulated. The club should have done a vote at a home game with ballot papers like it used to be for player of the year. if the new screen has the technology the pictures of the shirts could have been put up, other than that having them in the paper or matchday programmes should be enough. whoever is manipulating C though wants some new glasses as well. although the shirt is just yellow and blue like it should be.i personally would like to know actual numbers of votes rather than a percentage.it would be interesting to know how many votes there have been. :scarf:
You are my torquay, my only torquay, you make me happy when skies are grey, you'll never know, just, how much i love you, so don't take my torquay away.
