Passion, Commitment, Desire, Belief, Determination, Working as a Team, Solid Performance, No Weak Links, Torquay Re-United ........ HOPE !!! Just some of the words used on this thread. Are these really the same players ?? What a difference from just two weeks ago.
The new management team of Chris Hargreaves and Lee Hodges achieved Saturday's result of course but let's not forget Geoff Harrop's input - switching O'Connor to right back and bringing back Krystian Pearce, bringing back Damon Lathrope who should never have left and presumably he had something to do with Joss Labadie's return. So it was Geoff who 'set the ball rolling'. All I knew about him before the Morecambe game was that he was the Youth Team manager. On the evidence of the changes he made, our Youth side is in good hands which bodes well for the future.

Pardon me for breathing. :devil:brucie wrote:Why wouldn't they communicate with each other? - they are the manager and assistant. The only hope we have of staying in the league is to continue winning.

Playing O'Connor at right back and bringing Pearce back at centre half was blindingly obvious - everyone had been saying it for weeks. O'Connor is way better at full back than he is at centre back.
Yes - it was a fairly obvious decision to many but it took Geoff Harrop to actually do it !brucie wrote:Playing O'Connor at right back and bringing Pearce back at centre half was blindingly obvious - everyone had been saying it for weeks.
