Woking FC v Torquay United 6/4/19
Dowson recently said he wanted to bring in a hatchet man, he obviously just converted what he had.

Probably couldn't get the air ambulance as it was dealing with a sprained ankle somewhere. Doesn't matter who is in government everyone is aware of the serious issues surrounding the south west ambulance service. That is not down to money just bad management. Ask them how many staff took more than twenty days sick leave last year not directly work related, some will be surprised, a lot more disappointed. That is the one issue I have with state run bodies, the work efficiency or targets does not feature in their vocabularies, they just wait for more money to be thrown at them.

Given the treatment of Hall and Keating I hope Woking get what they deserve - another year in NLS.

Link to the Woking Game highlights from Woking web site. Some good slow motion highlights, which we do not get on our Match Highlights on our web site, for anyone who wants to view:

TUFC TV's version is on youtube but does not seem to appear on the club website yet. A good watch through slightly yellow tinted glasses
Cracking match coverage that was. What a great game.
The referee has missed a fair bit but he's missed a stonewall penalty at 3-1 when Niate has got in front of his marker from a corner and is shoved in the back.

... and just before that Dickson was also floored in the box. He protested vigorously but the ref turned a blind eye. When he was floored, Niate didn't complain neither did he when he was deliberately tripped just before their first. Was he suffering concussion or some such?
Note also the 'Woking' fans in the seating area celebrating our third!

Niate did make a case to the ref after the first. That was blatant from Kretschmar he looked up and tripped Niate so he couldn't get into position.gateman49 wrote: ↑08 Apr 2019, 17:15 ... and just before that Dickson was also floored in the box. Nice nightlights package.
I have to say Mcdonald could of done better for their first but an amazing save early in the second.
Our defence was very dodgy, we really need a couple of centre backs for next season and I think we missed Hall fully fit and then when he went off as there was no control in the middle of the park.
Great day and a good point.

Watching the highlights, you are left disappointed with how easy the Woking goals were fashioned. I'm sure they will be watching the video back today. Read on the Herald website that GJ usually gives the players Monday off, but had them in today to analyse the match.
