Feminists claim that a woman who is drunk cannot consent to sex, and that sex with an inebriated woman is therefore rape (why any man would want to have sex with such a woman is another matter) because, they claim, a drunken woman cannot be responsible for her decisions and actions. Yet a drunk man who has sex is held responsible. And drunk women are responsible if they decide to drive themselves home and get in an accident while doing so. And so, actually, they are equally responsible if they make the decision to have sex. So, ladies, why the double standards?

These days, sex with a woman who merely claims afterwards to have been drunk can lead to a man being charged with rape. And consensual sex which the woman later regretted can lead to a man being charged with rape. The law is now an open invitation to women to make false accusations of rape and abuse. Which they are doing, in increasing numbers. And which does the real victims of rape and abuse no favours at all.

Not a happy thought, is it..??

The information superhighway is a revolution that in years to come will transcend newspapers, radio, and television as an information source. Therefore, I think this is the time to put some restrictions on it.

Fact: Men who attend men-only slimming classes lose twice as much weight as men in mixed groups.

OK, so where's the nearest men-only slimming class?

It's strange that people should take up crime when there are so many legal ways to be dishonest.

Zero tolerance policies excuse people in authority from doing something we are loathe to ask people to do any more: think for themselves; to use their discretion, to exercise common sense, to employ mercy, and to look at things with balance.

It's a lot easier to hide behind a zero tolerance policy in order to avoid possible trouble for exercising discretion, rather than to use common sense which may be contrary to the common consensus. The problem is, zero tolerance polices are written for a black and white world, and the world is mostly different shades of grey.

Every cliche about kids is true; they grow up so quickly, you blink and they're gone, and you have to spend the time with them now. But that's a joy.
