However I agree that N.W. Had 2 fantastic seasons with TUFC when we were in the BSP. He scored some wonderful "match winning" goals, & became a superb penalty specialist. Just a pity that he never reached these heights in L2. Hope he settles in well at Shrewsbury

interesting point you raise. i think.
you have said quote "he had 2 fantastic seasons in the bsp" thats what i said so its not opinion - its fact. well it must be seeing as you actually agree with me!
he was good - like others in the bsp, and he wasnt bad in league 2.
you have perhaps forgotten that he had to play a different role in league 2 for several reasons that are quite obvious if you can be bothered to take them into account.

This is a statement ( an opinion), I have not offered this statement as a fact as I can't prove it. It is a fact that there are 100 cents in a dollar, & this can be proved. Opinions & statements are not always facts. You must see what I mean.
I agree that he had to take on a new role, & missed Chris H., but good players are able to adapt. :~D

Fact, not a statement or opinion.

It came as no surprise to me. Well done Elliott, the first of many no doubt.

Crappy header, but in the right place at the right time. At the end of the day a goal's a goal.

Matt.
Now you, Ma and Pa know and as a bonus you now know forevertufc, although that is not his usual perch. Robbotufc I've known for donkeys years, as like me, he's an Ellacombe buhy.
See you all at the Burton Albion game.

Yes, I am sure you are right. Come to think of it I can't remember him playing in the play off game at Brainmore against Exeter, but I can't think who he replaced when he joined our team. Surprised that SNW did not notice my mistake, I expect he has now lost interest in N.W.

Happy to be corrected on this as I'm only going from memory (more unreliable than an Alfa I once had!!!), but wasn't it Mansell?? Didn't we have Mansell and Hargreaves in the middle and then when Wroe came in Mansell got moved to right back??

Displaced is more accurate. The player displaced being Steve Adams.

crazyfool (not trojan)....I think Hockers played most in CM alongside Greavsie (although several others were tried). Manse started off there until moving to solve the RB problem slot around Christmas time...
Wheres the strikethrough gone?

The question started with how many seasons Wroe had in the BSP with Torquay.
Hockers was released before the arrival of Wroe for the 2008/09 season. The centre midfielder to suffer most from Wroe's arrival was Steve Adams.
