I would doubt it somehow as I'm not sure they (Ling & Carden) had a great working relationship at Cambridge. Interestingly I see from that article that Ling (along with Schofield it seems) is one of only 150 or so coaches in the UK to have the UEFA Pro LIcence ... impressive.
As for Carden, not sure what the future holds, I doubt Ling would want him as a player only though as at 32 I think his best days are well and truly behind him and of course he has spent the last 4 years at Cambridge out of the league.
