Craig would have gone by now if he wasn't contracted for next year. Disappointed that Leadbitter has gone as he looked like he had real ability. Other than that the other players were nailed on to be released.

Just because players are already under contract doesn't mean they'll automatically feature in Tintin's future plans. He may want to offload by making available for transfer/loan.

Of the players gone there are no surprises. There is one player in particular, who on announcement of his release, I will be out on the town celebrating.

The manager appears to have no desire to play 3 central midfielders. If thats the case, both the 2 used in central midfield need to be able to get tackles in and win possession. Eunan had the ability to nick the ball from the opposition as well as pick out telling passes and drift past the opponents to get into shooting positions. Whenever Ive seen Craig play, thats something he doesnt have in his game. Agree with Brucie, I dont think his contract would have been extended.

Ok, I'll bow to your superior knowledge with regards to Nathan. Still think he has potential, though. :-/

Be a shame to see Oastler go I think. He is easily L2 standard, as he proved over 50 games last year.

I guess that's Danny's career over then. Can't even see a Conference club taking a punt on a guy of his size.

Judgements on Nathan Craig should not be made by those who have not seen him play in his proper position. To judge him on his performances in the first team last term is akin to judging Lewis Hamilton on his inability to parallel park.

I agree Nick. Splits opinion on here, but think he's more than capable at this level, and like you say, showed that last year and (in parts) this year too. Potential to improve at his age too, so will be fairly disappointed if he's off.

Can only think that, with him and Leadbitter seemingly released, Knill must have someone in mind.

Stevens has gone, thanks for the last few seasons Danny, he's been a good little player for us but right time.
