No harm done today apart from a battering in pride, we're still in the mix and Knill has the opportunity to get the team back to normal on Tuesday hopefully after his errors today. Ok so he may have had no option with Hawley but you just don't start Cameron in ANY game and especially in a game like this and especially as he has had next to no first team action. Not even if Chappell is injured should we be starting with Cameron. So it's one selection that you can make excuses for and one that you simply can't but I trust in Alan to sort this out for Tuesday.
I still believe that we can get a win at Plymouth and if Alan keeps it real again then we're in business. I believe. There were excuses for today but it does highlight that we need everything to go right to get results and today there were just too many negatives, the missed pen and team selection. That has gone and it's time to look forward. COYY!!

Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

Don't worry. The Gulls will win all their January games and Alan Knill will be named Manager of the Month..

Please people don't stop believing!
I'm not going to pull rank on anyone here - because we are all yellow and we all want the same thing, but after having seen my fair share of Wigan games over the last 4 or 5 years, i can say without a doubt i have seen worse predicaments than the one we are in right now. And when i see the table i see 66 points left to play for and i see us ONE point off saftey as it stands (I am aware Rovers have a game in hand)
Now i'm not going to be drawn into the whole Knill out thing, because i think we all know our problems run deeper than one man. None of those lads look to let us down every week, sometimes football is horrible - absolutely horrible.
A lot of you know your football and when you look at the squad you must see we aren't a bad team on paper - sometimes it doesn't happen for whatever reason but what some of you need to hear -
is that there is nothing you can do.
Unless any off you have a small fortune to invest? - no?
Then all i can do - all we can do is just support the lads! They want to hear the Plainmoor roar when when they step out! Thats what we can provide them - let them do the rest. I know its blind faith - but what will be will be! The only way we can influence it in a POSITIVE way is to cheer our asses off and try our best to get behind them - we have great support - any of you who have ever been away with the gulls will know that.
Great clubs get up when they are down - i know this club means a hell of a lot to most of you on here! As long as we are here we have a chance to survive even in our position at the moment! I still think our club has a soul!
I see all these threads like Knill out, RIP TUFC and the rest of them - do they help? The players are aware of them for sure. If you want us to stay up and you want to help then ... help. Try to be positive and support the lads because i'll say again - that's the only thing to help we can do!
My opinion?
I don't think Knill will survive - but i think we will - in the end - because we are good enough as a team on the field and as fans in the stands.
COYY!!!
This will be me last post for a while folks

I'm in.
I have said some unpleasant stuff over the last 24 hours about Knill (sorry again Nick! ) but we have to just keep plodding and keep going through the motions in the hope that everything will be ok in the end. In a way it would be better if we could fast forward to the last game of the season needing a win to stay up. I'd take that now. It would save us all the arguments for the next 4 months and the need to go and watch some awful stuff.
We can't do that though but what we can do is show we are united. Torquay United.
Get down to Plainmoor, shout abuse at Knill if you want but leave the players alone. Don't sing if you don't want but leave the ground win, lose or draw knowing you did your bit. That's all you can do.
This is not really a post about staying positive because as long as Knill is here we are going down but its more about just sticking with it through gritted teeth and pain in the hope something positive will happen.

A new year and new hope - with a new spirit and shared belief then anything is possible
Play off are only 16 pts away with 60 odd points to play for
Felling good already

There does appear to be some light at the end of the tunnel, at last. I found the Knill era, one of the most depressing times ever, as a TUFC fan, competing with the Webb/Roberts eras. Thank goodness it is now over.

Game on!
New man will be in the stands watching - keep your eyes peeled
Joss back for a month - huge
Life is good - once again
If the players feel the way most of us do on here then we will see a completely different team out there today and another new chapter will begin

Who's feeling positive then?
A few more than this time last week i'd wager!
Every chance of a good positive performance at Wimbledon and i'm almost certain we'll get something - and we got our Greavesie back!
2-1 to the Gulls!
