Highlights the need to get loan extensions for Edwards and Andrews. Over to you Johnson Jnr .
Didn’t we also beat Stockport 4-1 with Jamie Ward (1) and Lee Thorpe bagging a hat trick....Plainmoor78 wrote: ↑22 Sep 2018, 13:58 Surely you haven't forgotten beating Maidenhead last season already.

Also beat Stockport in the FA Cup 4-0 played at the Moss Rose, Macclesfield with the aid of a Benners hat trick. Was there that night and it was bloody cold!

Didn't get up at 5am and struggle to find a way to watch, but very happy with that result. If we want to be where we want to be, then we should be smashing teams like Lymington 7-0! A confidence boost for those who have been missing in front of goal, as well. Positivity at TUFC! Haven't said that in at least five or so years.

Enjoyed that despite getting soaked. Once we scored those two quick goals it was simply a matter of how many. Their keeper kept it to single figures and kept is entertained - he enjoyed his afternoon and banter with Torquay fans.
An FA cup run would be good but we could do without the FA Trophy.

Really enjoyable game, Torquay played well. Lymington were very poor.

The stats for scorelines on Gulliball's extremely valuable site only cover league fixtures. We beat Canterbury City 6-0 away in the FA Cup in 1964.Scott Brehaut wrote: ↑22 Sep 2018, 14:13 Looking at Gulliball’s great stats site, we’ve never won 6-0.

Will any other team get a bigger result than that in the cup this year??

Bretts second was a peach but our second was superb, cracking move and goal of the game for me!

Round of applause for our second goalkeeper McDonald, who again put in a sound performance when called upon. Although shot stopping was not called upon today, his command of the area and his ball distribution were excellent, none more so than the superb kick down the channel that lead to Edwards disallowed goal for offside.

Totally agree, absolutely essential to get those loan extensions. If that happens, then it is going to be a joy watching TUFC for the rest of this season.Launceston Gull wrote: ↑22 Sep 2018, 14:49 Highlights the need to get loan extensions for Edwards and Andrews. Over to you Johnson Jnr .
Great result and performance today, it doesn't matter if the opposition is further down the pyramid. Well played the Lymington goalkeeper, made some great saves and good banter with us too! Great chap.
A good day out, apart from the heavy rain.

Great win today BUT gull fans we need to get real. We played against a midfield with a guy who was 48 year old with the body of Boris Johnson and the ball skills of Diane Abbot COYY
