Pukka gen no duff question, does this make Miss GG our only black supporter? I don't recall seeing a single non white person at Plainmoor, or among our travelling support.

Come to think of it, neither have I. That's actually something that surprises me.

To be brutally honest it's not really a surprise to me. Torquay has always been a pretty white area - I mean, my mother tells everybody the story of me meeting my first non-white person at aged 7, on the bus, and apparently being fascinated.

What is sad is that I have heard a few things said at Plainmoor in the past that were of a less than savoury tone; this was about 10 years ago, mind.

Irish lad here! I am looking to adopt an English team and I just googled League Two and well Torquay caught me eye! Im from Dublin and support Saint Patricks Athletic! We are third in the League of Ireland here (Airtricity League!) . We are playing some Kazakh team in the Europa League come Thursday, a team called Shaktar Karagandy! Wish us luck! I admit I know very little about Torquay United so figured might as well adopt the Gulls. Hope to come over and see a match during the summer for a weekend! That is it really! Saw an African lad joined the board so ye are well known! Looking forward to getting to know ye!

Best wishes
Den!

Just got back from 3 weeks working in Dubai, first time there and what a place!! No need for the tall buildings though, as I am scared of heights. I am back there in 4 weeks before setting off to sea again. Spent a lot of money in the Dubai Yaught club while I was there, a lot of ex pats seem to congregate there in the sports bar. Had a good crack.
I don't envy you working in that heat though, although you are probably in a nice air con office, I was outside!!

Enjoy the site, it keeps me sane when I can get a connection away from home.
