Surely Losers would be far more appropriate, amazed he is anywhere near tbh. See out the contract I guess, cannot say I blame him, perhaps he will suprise us and end up in the Champions League :)

should be part of any decision. If he'd left in june that would've given us time to find a replacement.

as it, it'd need to be a really decent bidc from Eastleigh for us to even consider it. Our squad is being built around him; if he were to leave that would jeopardise our entire season.

sounds like York also interested so could be to the highest bidder

i agree building around him, but owners will want the ££££ then we are in a real bad position with no strikers other than ash.

Our squad is paper thin as it is, losing Jarvis will be a major blow to our promotion prospects.

If GJ is in any way serious about promotion he will just turn any bids down.

If it wasn’t for the fact that Eastleigh are a cheating, diving bunch of scumbags I’d understand why he’d go. Horrible, horrible team.

Not if there is a buy out clause in Jarvis' contract and Eastleigh meet it and Jarvis wants to leave. The only thing Johnson and the club could do is offer Jarvis improved terms.

response from the club - https://torquayunited.com/johnson-dismi ... eculation/

pertinent bits here;

“There’s a bit of speculation regarding Aaron Jarvis, which is only to be expected as he had a super season last year,” said Johnson.

“Jarvs is under contract to the Club, and is not for sale. Jarvis is aware of it, and is focused on having a successful season with us.”

I don't really think there's much more that they can say at this juncture. It probably won't stop speculation, but that seems about as unequivocal as it could be right now.

(will for sure be interesting to see what happens in Janury if Jarvis is already up to 15 goals by then, though)

Well done Gary (at last) we need Jarvo to build a partnership with Ash quickly. Great news.

It’s quite refreshing to hear something from the club this quickly after years of being kept in the dark about almost everything! Onwards

As it’s the scum from Eastleigh allegedly and they want him that bad the clubs clause should be
As he was part of the Marquis brigade and our only success from the Brigade you take McGavin, Marshall and Hanson as part of the deal .
