One I remember was 1998 away to Notts.C lost 3.0 and went on to lose in the play-off final :'(

Wasn't sure whether to try and go to Swindon as I'm going on Saturday, now I'm highly tempted... even if it is an extortionate price!

An unbelievable few months..

After the Gillingham defeat we were asking whether we would be having a relegation battle
Going into the Accrington game we were a potential outside bet for the playoffs
After Accrington it seemed that we would just miss out on the playoffs but top 10 was possible for a credible finish.
A win against Swindon and a draw against Oxford and all of a sudden the playoffs were maybe on again
3 away wins in a row and the playoffs were a real possibility
4 more wins and all of a sudden the top 3 are in reach
2 defeats in a row and a tough looking trip to Crawley and the top 3 suddenly seemed a bit further off but at least the playoffs looked good

Now another run of 10 points from 12, 2nd place and top 3 even if challengers win their games in hand.

A win on Saturday and then do we go to Swindon as title contenders??

Ah, of course, forgot that game. If we win at Burton with Swindon losing we'll be 4 points behind them, having played a game more. Still, I'd imagine with them having a Wembley final on the weekend after we go there, there players won't want to get injured or anything, hopefully we can get at them and sneak a 1-0!!

Tonight was our 2nd ever win at Rotherham, the first coming in the 1997/98 season..

Good way to end the run at the DVS! :)

What a season this is turning out to be. Martin Ling has made me look like a class A idiot after the stick I gave him when he was appointed.

Honestly, to be 2nd in the League at this stage of the season is truly incredible for a club of our size and I can't wait to see what happens next.

Long live Martin Lings Yellow Army.

absolutely constant rotherham pressure for almost the whole of the second half, save the last few mins when jarvis thumped a shot against the bar, and someone had a free header into an empty net wide

bobby superb, saah masterful, and if manse doesnt get the player of the year?? great noise all game from the travelling gulls, about 100 of us in pitiful 2500 crowd
