Voting (supposedly!) stopped on the 11th at the Herald website showed shirt G had 50% and the closest rival was shirt C with 19%. Of course this does not include the votes received via email at the club but you would have thought they would have a final decision by now!

Stay lucky.
Great news, going to get Saunders 4 on the back, also going to get MOD DEC windows to sponsor us next year.

Love it. Looks fantastic and will definitely be buying that IF they do the right thing and go with it.

IF they don't - what the hell was the whole point of all of this? Another episode like the design the shirt thing - only to ignore it totally would not go down well!
I will also part with my ever decreasing spending money
IF they keep to the promise!

I hope shirt C is just a backup exercise but I have this nagging feeling that it will end up being the choice made by those with the power to make it.
Hope I'm wrong.

Likewise
Why else would they be asking for samples of C?

i expect the G 'samples' to be of 'poor quality' so we went with C.

I am all for the club talking to it's fans, however on the shirt design maybe an error of judgment. I think the final decision on the shirt will rest with the manager and playing squad, hence samples of shirt "C" Being ordered.
No point sticking the squad in a shirt they hate playing in, thats why I would have left up to the players in the first place myself. Did in the first place hate shirt "G" Admit it is growing on me some what, not sure whether I would buy it, will wait untill I see it first hand.

With around a dozen players out of contract in the summer, who exactly do we ask? Just those contracted for next season? Or should Ling announce his retained list so we only take the votes from those staying?! Will Ling definitely be manager next season?? No, I think the coaching and playing staff are the last people to ask, beyond the comfort of materials used. They should be concentrating solely on results right now.

Too flipping right Chris. Since when did employees choose their own uniforms?
They'll wear what they're told. The people have spoken.
(Better not be C, it was the worst of the lot)

Well lol indeed, I, of course was not suggesting the new kit samples arrive say next Monday and the players wear them in training Tuesday and then were asked whether they like it or not. No final decision needs to be made until the summer.
The opinions and feed back of some players would be interesting whether they will be here or not and as they are the ones who have to wear it and win games in it, there opinion should count for something.
As for Martin Ling unless he resigns or is offered a job by another club, there really is no doubt he will be our manager next term, people keep telling us we have to look at old has beens like Logan because the club does not have a pot to piss in, therefore the club doesn't have a pot to sack Lingy with.(pardon me for going off topic)
