He did spend 8 years at Leyton..Apart from Wenger, SAF, and David Moyes which are the obvious examples..I can hardly think of somebody working for such a long period in one club. Bear in mind that Martin was doing it in a lower league outfit rather than premier league one. Being a young, promising manager at the time he got the promotion with them you can imagine that he probably had some better financial offers from clubs from the Championship. And yet he stayed there and worked on the team. Remember him saying something about having a great academy at Leyton, something which is lacking at Torquay. He works on the academy in our club, the training ground and the overall bright future of the club. For me, these are all signs that he actually thinks about the future of the club, the long term aspect of thing and actually wants to stay here for long. And if there is something which is going to make him leave, would probably be the fans, because as we have already seen he starts to lose patience on them.

jonnyfive, what bengull is saying is that he thinks the centre midfield should be Manse and Damon/Easton. But yet, we still need the good delivery by Craig, so we might as well use him on the wing. It has nothing to do with just winger taking free kicks.

Yeah, countless warnings. We don't like banning but had no other choice.
