Rumours on Twitter suggest that all those offered new deals are set to turn down the chance to stay as they 'dislike the new kit'...

From recent activity plus the fact there has been an offer on the table for Rene for some time and his twitter post recently quoted "Meetings" I would say it is a forgone conclusion the lad is looking for a better deal elsewhere. A proven goal scorer replacement is a must for next season.

Don't you mean Bodin?
Oh and Scott, i've explained the reasons why i'd give Oastler another year and not Bodin ( if Bodin wasn't contracted ) and i'm right. :na:
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

Okay, Summer Overview is up to date. Squad looks very thin!!
Good luck to all the players who left the club today (apart from if you ever play us again). Cheers for the 6-years Danny.

Portsmouth unofficial confirm Rene not going there, despite talks and a contact he 'couldn't refuse'.
Matt.

Recent tweets from Howe saying that nothing has been decided yet. Like to think he'd stay but I can't see it happening at all. Give him a time-limit of a week or two, if nothings happened move on.

That's because he wants a move up North - apparently for personal reasons. If he is in Newcastle at the moment that would explain things. Notts County or Burton more likely in my opinion certainly nothing down south unless the offer is too good to refuse.

To release both right backs surely it means we have one lined up already?

Hard to disagree with the retained list, although I do feel that Joe was worth, and probably deserved, another 12 months.
Refreshing to see Knill move quickly and clear space for HIS players.
Oh, and for what's it's worth, Oxford is very much a sideways step. They are no bigger or better than us anymore.

How dare you offend us true northerners by claiming teams from the midlands are in the north!tauntongull wrote:That's because he wants a move up North - apparently for personal reasons. Now it's been confirmed that the little sawn off runt has been released I'm absolutely overjoyed. I said I wouldn't get on his case last season and stayed true to my word. Now he's gone, it's no holds barred. For now, I'm out to celebrate . . . . . .
Ding Dong! The sawn off runt,
The sawn off runt, the sawn off runt,
DIng Dong! the sawn off runt has gone . . . . . .
