True, but if it was his passion and something he was genuinely good at I don't see why he wouldn't? Pride?

Harrop is no different to countless millions in this world who assume that the role they were patently designed for but no longer ticks the desire box can change to another role higher up the food chain without any obvious experience of that role and there would be no repercussions, his credibility in football has been damaged, possible fatally , although his abject failure in the general managers role had nothing to do with his former role as a youth coach. Good luck to him what ever he does.

I think truth be told; his role had evolved to not only exclude anything to do with the playing side of the game but also to take on the extra admin made necessary through the departure of the Club secretary and he has procured something else in that field that he wishes to work in.
