The Bruce Stuckey chant consisted on one word: Bruce.

The Willie |Brown chant was more ambitious than the Stubbs/Stuckey chants. It was sung, although there was only one note to the song, which went like this:

Oh! Willie, Willie!
Willie, Willie, Willie, Willie, Willie Brown!

The Kevin Hill chant cannot be repeated here. To sum up, the said footballer was praised for his ubiquity on the pitch.

Could we use this one that Derby sing?

I remember using the same song for Bruce Rioch when he was lining up one of his thunderbolt free-kicks, Christ he could hit a ball beautifully.
God I miss those days....

“You’re going home in a f’n ambulance” very 70s 80s! Never meant it of course but all good fun!

Our Chelsea connections always meant we sang "One man went to mow", "Celery" and "I'm going out with the girl next door" on the Pop side.

Many years ago, I seem to recall Molly Malone being sung on the Torquay terraces. Can anyone else remember this?

One aspect of songs / chants that i always found a very personal thing to TUFC and something that really set us apart and backed our players was the fact that just about every player had a mini chant about them individually and when they ran out onto the pitch before a game we used to go through the side and often get acknowledgement from those players.

I feel it's important for each player to have their own song and to recognize each player. I've not ever seen any other football club fans sing songs for each individual before a game (and during) and that did make me proud to be a supporter back then.

I just think each player should have a little tune about him that fans can bang out in appreciation.

The 'one man went to mow' chant always perplexed me. This was not because it was often used as a song of abuse (for example, against the then Crawley manager Steve ?????) but because the one man didn't go to mow a meadow - he went to mow a city!
