Did whoever designed the new home shirt even have any knowledge of how it was manufactured?
A quick look at the Gateshead images shows that there was at least some sort of communication between designer and manufacturer!
I didn't like the first showing of the current home shirt but it grew on me. I really don't see how this one will!
Are there any of the current ones left?
I think I might buy one (otherwise I'll be waiting for a couple of years before I spend my money).
Loyal but not stupid!

That really is awful.
What on earth is the point of offering fans the chance to design a shirt when you're not going to hold a vote or even use any of the designs? I can't believe that anyone submitted one like that. How hard is it really to mock up a few kits and get some feedback from fans before choosing the final design.
I'll wait to see it in the flesh before deciding, but 99% sure I won't be getting it. First one in a very long time I won't have bought, but I like the current shirt and really don't want to be seen in public wearing this.

Well it's funny you should mention the programme because the club is currently running a competition to name the programme for next season. I wont bother entering because I went to some trouble to design a kit for the previous compeition and they couldn't even be arsed to say that no-one had won. What makes us think that they will name the programme after anyones suggestion this time around? I bet my bottom dollar that they name it TQ1 as was sugegsted on the OS before the competition ran...

All those brilliant designs that were on here before, and the Club go for this. Hideous. Does anybody like it instantly? Maybe we'll get accustomed to it, the black away shirt wasn't well received if I remember correctly, but my first impression of this one is that it's nasty.

The sponsor's logo is waaaaaay too big! Don't like the shade of yellow either.

Is there anyway of getting the club to change there mind on it, im pretty sure 98% of fans dont like it. Would they risk selling that and selling not many. Just like what yellowsmithy said, it is more than a football top.
I would rather see the gateshead away top in yellow and blue instead of the purple. That would be a lot better. Can we actully do anything beofre its to late.

Eerm, I don't mean to be mean, but why do we all dislike it to such an extent? I'm pretty ambivalent towards it, since it's not a particularly great departure from what we have now. It's yellow, with a blue stripe down it, as opposed to being yellow, it seems a bit much to hear so many who 'hate' a design which is so minutely altered from one which we wear now and seem to like.
Matt.

Ferrari: Absolute rubbish.
I'm sorry, but have you seen the photo? It looks absolutely terrible. It's not about the blue stripe, it's the finish of the product. If you can't see the difference in quality between the current home shirt and the new one, you must be half blind.

Really? Matts talking rubbish while you base your decision on a small photo? (or a glimpse of some girly walking round the pitch?) Impressed how you can tell the finish on it and the difference in quality.
Im sure there will be another bandwagon round soon enough for you all to jump on though...

dont like the gateshead one either, too many odd shadows and things on it, i've said it before and i'll say it again we need to ditch the two bob manufacturers and head towards a nice plain nike or adidas design, almost all vandanel kits are hideous
still keeping the faith

Don't fancy yours much.
Fate: A police dog called Bryn bit Torquay player Jim McNichol and the time while he was receiving treatment was added onto the end of the second half.
