According to Lloyd on Twitter, training was over at 2. Hopefully ML has been in his office (porta-cabin/ outside loo) since then thrashing out a deal for him. Or perhaps Atieno takes precedence? Can't deal with both at once i guess and that deal was due to be discussed today i think?

So, this geezer on the left wing, Danny/Lloyd on the right, Billy and Howe/Atenio up front, where the hell is McFree gonna play?

Matt.

In other news, was he transported here directly from a mid-'90s boy band?

Matt.

Sounds like a good bit of business there by Ling, I bet Hereford are kicking themselves

Perhaps if they hadn't spunked all their cash poncing off to Spain, they could have had him?

Matt.

Very good signing. Looks a quality player at this level I would think.

Judging by the performances on Saturday, McPhee will rightfully start on the right, Morris (i'd assume, although hard to commit without seeing him play) on the left, with Stevens/Macklin fighting it out with Halpin for a spot on the bench.

The quotes attributed to Ling when Stevens was resigned by the board indicates that Stevens will have to break into the line-up.

Very good news - expect him to be our new number 11 and would be surprised if he isn't a regular fixture in the team.

I guess that just leaves Taiwo now. If he signs, then I reckon that's that which is pretty good going by Martin Ling as that will be NINE new signings since he arrived + the re-signing of Danny Stevens

I must admit I would like another striker as not sure that either Yeoman or Spear are quite ready for League 2 football and so in reality we have just three out and out strikers (Howe, Kee and Atieno if he signs) which may leave us a bit short. That said though we do have other options such as McPhee I guess.

That is a great signing, and a brilliant bit of finger into pie work by Ling.

Chuffed to bits, this guy has championship football experience and should prove to be a quality signing in this league. Massive credit to both Ling and the board for pulling this signing off.

Its all starting to come together.
