Brought the new 360 today, 250gb memory with Fifa for £190 (the console itself is £180) and Xbox live for 12 months months. Not bad at all :)

Sounds like a top deal for a console that can't clean PS3's shoes! :)

Looking at getting a 360 so as others have said let us know where you got this deal as it is very good!

I think it was from Gamestation, guys. My brother got it all for me while I was at work.

Loving this game, although it's irritating just how bad some of the TUFC players are! It's hard to play as them

how's the game itself shaping up fellas ??

last year i switched to fifa for the first time (from PES) and have enjoyed it for a year, but wasn't sure whether to go for it again this year. been away so haven't had chance to pick it up yet, but if it's recommended, i might pick it up tomorrow.

seen a few reviews slating it, and a few hailing it the best ever, but i guess that's what opinions are all about.

I've also been away and unable to get a proper go on it. Although, i did enjoy the demo but i think a few people are having problems with the new defending system where the emphasis is more about usherring players into less dangerous positions and then getting the ball when it's available than randombly pressing 'x' until the computer retrieves the ball for you. I'd say it's an improvement, but one that makes the game more difficult, which is why some people are complaining.

P.S Which arena player are you all going for? It's gottaa be a Torquay player for me but i'm not settled on a certain one yet....

I like it. Torquay are really hard to be as the strikers (especially Atieno!) are woeful. I have my virtual pro up top though and he's hit 25 goals in the first 18 games..

:P

Any idea how you download the latest squad update? I can't find it!

Err, can't remember off the top of my head. I think it's My Fifa 12, then squads (or something) then it comes up there. I'll have a look next time I'm on.

EDIT: Scrap that, go on Customise FIFA, then 'Change Squads/Rosters' then it's there.

:-D

quick question - we received the game today from Amazon (for the PS3) and the game has no manual included. i assume there should be one ??

not played the game yet, so i guess there could be an in game manual or something, but did everyone else get a paper copy ??
