Correct but do you remember that we lost that reserve Western League game 1-3 to Bideford? John Smith (an amateur player) scored our goal from the penalty spot. what i do remember was you had to attend the reserve team match a couple of weeks prior to the spurs game, to obtain a voucher, which enabled you to purchase a ticket the following week,
i think there was over 7000 people at that game!
on this occasion trojan "the plainmoor raga muffins" ( i.e. fat eric, lanky phil & goofy jezz & the rest ) duly parted with coins of the realm to purchase their tickets!
