Bit late but I've fixed it ha!
On topic: I hate scooters, why are they so loud? Bloody shut up kids riding up and down my road on them all night. I could walk faster!

I don't commute on my bike, it's used for running errands/shopping and for the sheer pleasure of just riding it.
All motorcycle parking in Council car parks is free, and pay and display on street parking has some bays specifically marked for motorcycles and it's also free !
The free for motorcycles on street bays I've found so far :
Outside the cinema in Abbey Road Torquay
Opposite the former cinema in Torbay Road Paignton
Three bays along the sea wall promanade, Paignton Green
I've got a huge 58 litre capacity backbox on my bike and when I'm out and about shopping I'm saving a fortune in parking fees/fines.
I've found another free for motorcycles on street parking bay :
Market Street, Torquay, at it's junction with Castle Lane.
If you don't want you precious metal to get wet, then a short ride around the corner takes your gleaming condition two wheeler into the under cover Union Square car park. I did this very thing recently, took the lift to the shopping level and returned to my bike with a backbox full of Iceland pizzas.

My "Chinese Takeaway"(Lexmoto Street 125) took me away to many local places of interest this past year in the warmer months including the Kestrel Inn Manaton, the Tavistock Inn Poundsgate, the Rugglestone Inn Widecombe, the Start Bay Inn Torcross, the Cricket Inn Beesands, the Trout Inn Bickleigh, and many more besides all from the start point of the Union Inn Plainmoor (HQ of the now famous Union Inn Motorcycle Club) - I sh*t you not, I got the official sew on patch and the tee-shirt to prove it.
Soon to join my nip on* and get about town 125 will be my custom cruiser 750 Yamaha Virago.
* Chinese
, not Nippon :no: .

Summer here and I am well enjoying my motorbiking
I'll tell you what value it is . . . . . . . . . . . a season ticket at cheap skate renewal would have cost me £295. I can insure, tax and MOT my 125cc and 750cc and still have change from aforementioned £s.
It was a no brainer . . . . . . . I'll pick and choose the occasional game I'll attend this season at the Harley Davidson Plainmoor Stadium.
