Played 4 times there, won 2, lost 2. Not too bad I guess. We've won our last two though so fingers crossed we make it a hat-trick.

Poke
Tonge Pearce Downes Cruise
Chappell Harding Mansell Cameron
Hawley Ball

Time to drop Nico and Bodin and see how those two work as a pairing. Also 50/50 over Hawley and Benyon, depending on fitness.

3-1 win for us, Chappell, Ball and Hawley on the scoresheet.

thats the team i would like to see given a chance.

but i bet it wont happen.

sounds like bodin could do with a couple of games on the bench to give him a kick up the arse.

he does seem to be a constant first choice despite being in average form.

surely there is more depth to the squad this season that will make the under-performers a bit uncomfortable.

I like that line up but I'd consider switching Chapell and Cameron as I think Chapell and Cruise showed promising signs when they linked up together last season.

We were bloody robbed once up there. 2 minutes in, Rendell couldn't possibly miss from a matter of inches. Over comes their keeper and hauls him down. Ref gives the pen, but no red. Keeper, of course, saves the spot kick and we go on to lose. Bloody travesty.

Bodin needs games on the sideline after 2 games? Bloody hell fire, he must be shit. Nico, well, I'd only really like to see Nico miss out on the basis that is like to see Tom playing, but that's boring against Kev.

Having seen how we can play, I'd be devastated to lose this one. To be honest, playing like we did yesterday, I'd be upset to see us lose almost any L2 game this year.

What have Morecambe done over the summer? They looked pretty ordinary last year, so unless they've improved, I really can't see us coming home disappointed.

Nick, Chapperz and Tongue worked really well together yesterday, I'd be loathe to separate that gruesome twosome.

Matt.

:goodpost: i agree with yellowforevers team - i'd like to think knill will have the balls to drop players if they arnt doing it on the pitch, if not now then further down the line

Absolutely and as such Rice compeltely deserves to be dropped for a bloke who still isn't fit.

A mistake in my team selection, I instinctively put Poke down instead of Rice. Of course Ricey should be playing.

very hopeful of a positive performance up there today, the players have had two full games together now and by all accounts we played some good football on tuesday night

the moercambe players will be buzzing about beating wolves and will hopefully be thinking about the next round and underestimating our attacking abilities today

0-2 torquay, hawley and ball
