got this game on my 'both teams to score' bet. Think 3-2 either way

Hoping for a better game than my last couple of visits to Spotland. Let's get behind the team, importantly. YELLOWS :scarf:

Like to see us start well and take the lead, either holding on 1-0 or pegged back to 1-1

I'm expecting the usual XI, poor first half from us. Bigger effort in the second half. We should match Rochdale for possession but a lot of our possession is across the park rather than going forward so too slow build up enabling Rochdale to get plenty of players organised in defence. Then we are relying on 'moments of brilliance' from our wingers and strikers. If we're lucky Rochdale will be thwarted for much of the game so they leave spaces in the second half as they chase the win.
I'd be happy with a draw after last weeks effort and I hope we can at least match Rochdale on shots and corners. But barely better than relegation form.

Dale 2-0 Gulls.

We've lost on our last five visits to Spotland, and Dale have only lost once at home since January, when Keith Hill returned. I cannot see that ending today unfortunately.

My only crumb of hope? Well, we won at Northampton recently for the first time since 2003. From memory, last time we won at Spotland??? 2003. Admittedly towards the end of 2002/03 rather than in the promotion season, and I didn't go as I was working, but I remember checking the scores and Simon Clist scored the second.

A rarity in that this is a new ground for me. The first since Fleetwood last year I think?
