Does anyone know if we have ever done the double over Argyle ? The players celebrations after each goal were brilliant. I loved Manse's knee slide ! Are there any pictures of it in the papers today ?
The last time was: 1970/71

2-1 at home on Boxing Day (Mal Lucas and John Rudge) Att: 12,807

Thanks Budleigh. It really makes you realise what a great achievement yesterday was and all the players, fans, board members, Martin Ling and coaching staff will remember it forever.

Thanks for videos; certainly captured the moment. Have to credit our fans for creating a great atmosphere and the wonderful support. Martin Ling and the lads deserve no less.

Fate: A police dog called Bryn bit Torquay player Jim McNichol and the time while he was receiving treatment was added onto the end of the second half.
Great photo, budleigh, thanks. Possible new laptop wallpaper me thinks.budleigh wrote:The Yellow Army from the stand. Even on the half-way line our support was louder and seemed non-stop, whereas the only real noise from their lot came after the goal and soon petered out to a low nothing!! It was awesome to listen to. Better than Shrewsbury away? Definately.
Protocol dictated that where we sat meant polite handclapping when the goals went in... yea right!! We went ballistic!!
If you want to PM me with your email address I'll send you a better resolution one.Great photo, budleigh, thanks. Possible new laptop wallpaper me thinks.

What a fantastic day I've had today. Thanks go to Southampton Gull and IJN
I've been to Plymouth many, many times over the years, on different days, at different times, for varied activities and functions. Today is the best day I've had in Plymouth since October 5th 1968.
I'll read the threads all the way through at sometime later. I'm off for me kip.
 "I'll be back."
Always Look on the bright side of life
