Regarding the people who call the fanatic group pathetic and ridicule them for the lack of voice..I keep thinking that even though we get crowds in the 2000-3500 range..only 100-150 of these people actually sing. The others are just spectators. Nothing wrong with that. My point is that you can not expect 150 people to outsing 700 Wimbeldon fans who have travelled all the way from London in order to sing and stand behind their team. That is why we get outsung. Maybe that would change if the people who are unhappy with the lack of singing actually join in. There is nothing wrong with singing and shouting..showing your support for the team you love...more people should do it. Then we would be able to proudly say that nobody can come and outsing our crowd at Plainmoor.

I think the point is something to do with the name not really representing the level of noise produced! i.e. you would really expect a group called "the Fanatics" to be quite large (in number not waiste line) and very loud, it is neither! Don`t get me wrong I think those guys should be applauded and encouraged, there just isn`t enough of them....yet!

It's not about being outsung by the away fans, as Wimbledon were loud and plentiful. It's about the fact that the pop was SILENT for most of the game.

Seriously, I commend the thinking behind what you are doing, but what is the point in having a group set up to generate noise if you are then going to be silent for the vast majority of the game?

I am just saying what I saw and heard (or didn't as the case may be), so don't moan about why don't the bench sing etc (as far as I am aware there is not a group set up called Bristow's Belchers with the sole aim of generating noise / atmosphere).

You just need to lose your inhibitions a bit.....

Just a thought but at Bordeaux there are two guys with microphones behind the goal that continually sing/chant and make noise all through the game?Would that be allowed in the football league?.

Not if they also had amplifiers and loudspeakers, I should have thought..

No point in having a microphone without amps.yes they are very loud,pour away support was like a silent movie.

There is one at Sevilla and he sounds like a right knob. If anyone brought one of those things to a game then i'd personally escort him out myself. European fans are totally different to us, especially as we are lower league and if anybody brought one in and started chanting yellow army then he'd sound ridiculous.
