Rain by the f**k load, Brighton Races- The going soft to heavy. Stanners reports on Twitter- can`t get warm and the training ground( at Briatol Rovers ) is water logged. The parks are all soggy and soft, there are puddles everywhere that`s flat and where it`s not it`s like streams of fast flowing water! Weatherman F**K OFF, water boards F**K OFF, there is no drought, just flood alerts, dangerous road conditions and water logged everywhere else! I`ll bet all the water rates go up soon and this conspiracy about a drought is just a softener before the blow, again the powers to be and money people are taking the piss!

Gotta admit i'm with you on that one Aussie. Nowt but torrential rain here all day long and the river opposite to my garden is swollen and looks ready for bursting. Now where did i put that kayak?
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

premier inn's good night guarantee.

what a load of bollox. booked my room a few months ago for the Crewe game at the weekend (only £29 for booking so far in advance), at the newly built Newton Abbot premier inn, right by the racecourse.

returned to the hotel totally pi**ed off because of that 137th minute equaliser, found a spot in the bar to drown my sorrows. once the old beer gauge reached "full", me and the family headed back to our room, wind and rain now well and truly kicking in outside.

having set off from london that morning at 6am, plus a belly full of beer, i hit the hay and went out like a light.

5am, woken by water pi**ing in through the ceiling, right down on me in bed. scrambled in the dark (as water was also pouring in through the light fixtures) for a bin etc to catch the water. go to reception, they move us to another room etc etc.

anyway, when we then check out a few hours later, they "refund us the £29 for the inconvenience". yeah, ok, thanks for that. But should it really stop there ?? Ok, so i came down for the footy, which in it's own way had spoilt my weekend, but considering i spent £100 on petrol, over £100 in the restaurant and bar at the hotel, another 20 quid on breakfast at the hotel, all they refund me for my ruined weekend is the £29 for the room, which essentially has cost them sweet FA.

so, premier inn's good night guarantee = £29 compensation for a shite weekend, thanks a bunch.

premier inn - take your £29 and shove it up Lenny Henry's fat arse.

Got to be honest Regiment, I really don't think you're in the right. Why should they give you free money because you've had a sh*t weekend doing things out of their control? Everything else they did seemed to be fine, it was just the hotel room and they dealt with that quite well and gave you it for free.

I don't work for a hotel or anything but I've done plenty of customer service roles in my time and the amount of times I'd get someone wanting something for nothing was ridiculous. People don't seem to realise that if you work for a company, it's there to make money. No company makes money by giving money away for free.

you're entitled to your opinion, i was going to reply and tell you why i think you're wrong, missed the point, and made inaccurate assumptions, but i can't be bothered.

this is the page for moaning and ranting, which is what i was doing. i wasn't looking for an argument. i've got a mrs for that.

well,
f**king car parking prices! :@
hospitals shocking. went to one last week 80p/hr. went this week, £1.20!!! f**king robbing bas**rds!! :@
how can they sanction a 50% rise??
have they made the car park better? No!
do you get it washed while you are away? No!
are there any more tools walking round patrolling? No!
Will they put a ticket on your car if you are 10mins over? Too right they will!!
Absolute disgrace!
and then they claim the money goes for patient care! bo**ocks!

oh and another thing "baby on board" signs in cars - as if to say that gives me a 20mile exclusion zone around my car!!
and then they go flying past you at 90mph in the outside lane of the motorway! priceless f***ing priceless! :@
