Regiment wrote:quick question - we received the game today from Amazon (for the PS3) and the game has no manual included. i assume there should be one ??

not played the game yet, so i guess there could be an in game manual or something, but did everyone else get a paper copy ??
Don't think there is a paper copy this year, there is an in game manual so guess they may aswell save the planet while they are at it! ;-)

thanks mate. my boy complained there was no manual, but having looked myself, i saw on one of the bits of paper in the box, it did say about an in-game manual, and also can be downloaded online. checked online, and only manuals available in english are for PS2, Nintendo DS, and PSP. Very helpful !! I'll just tell him to crack on and play it, men don't need instruction manuals !! ha ha.

I have had this game for a little longer than most (There is some pro's when living in the states). You should keep Ellis he grows into a good player within a few years. For me O'Kane is under rated in this game.

Last night we had Torquay United top of League One on the weekly tables list - good work lads.

I'm struggling to get out of division 9 on the head to head seasons though (PS3), seem to boss games for ages but then concede on the counter attack - have nearly broken a couple of control pads already.

Regiment, you will need the little piece of card with an online 'code' on it for you and your lad to sign in and play online fifa.

On another note, any of you seen how Torquay have risen through the leagues in the 'club challenge' thing or whatever it is where fans of clubs earn points to go towards the total score?

Game is fantastic at least a couple of hours every night! Anyway league 2 is looking fantastic at the Moment Torquay top with 27 points from 11 games!! Macklin is league 2 top scorer with 13 goals (world class diff) which is pretty decent!! Worst result was a 6-6 draw with Bristol rovers!! Oastler does like the red though!!! or that might just be me.

Current Squad

GK - Virtual Pro
DEF - Oastler (when his not Suspended), Ellis, Weir (Yes Grandad Weir but free agent and his ratings 69), Nicholson
MID - Stevens, Mansell, Van Haaren, O'Kane
ST - Atieno, Macklin

bench

Olejnik, Robertson, Morris, Bodin, Howe

Got a career going with Arsenal, just finished 2nd in the league in my first season, winning the FA Cup. Having a clear out of dead wood this summer, with my only transfer target being the one and only Lionel Messi. I was given £74million to spend in the summer and I'm hoping I can raise enough to tempt Barca to sell!

We're in the premiership on that support your club thing!! Good effort!

Do any of you do those challenges? The Chelsea-Arsenal one atm is solid! I can always get 4-3 up but they either score or it finishes! :(

I had my first go at one of those challenges today, and it appears to be beyond my ability!

In both my attempts, i lost the game 4-3. :/

Didn't realise we're in the prem now?! Awesome. Keep it up lads! :P :)
