I would suggest it's more a case of not enough space on the bench and he has not been overly effective of recent weeks (perhaps the pitches don't help him). I suspect Ling see Macklin as offering more out wide?

Couldn't be bothered to go to Mansfield to watch in the pub so i thought i'd stream it but i can't get the two recommended to me anyway so i'm f*cked.
