My team for today would be:

Rice (Poke to come in if and when the incumbent relinquishes grip on first team place)

Tonge Pearce O'Connor Cruise

Lathrope McCourt

Bodin Azeez Chappell

Benyon

Don't think this will happen of course, am sure Mansell will play, and probably Hawley. With my selection a little lacking in experience there is a case for Nico continuing in the side, and he did do ok last week.

The three behind the striker should all be interchangeable, and can also revert to a 4-4-2 as required. Fluidity and flexibility the name of the game, and keeping the opponent guessing.

If my team was selected, the question would be who would be captain (no Manse, Downes, Nico or Hawley)? It is of course a hypothetical as it won't happen.

3 games in 8 days, hoping for a minimum return of 5 points. Form suggests otherwise but certainly not impossible!

I will be suprised if McCourt starts as I think he would have to change the formation as I can't imagine Mansell and McCourt in the centre. Hope Allan wakes up today and thinks yes I will change the formation and plays three in the centre. Think we will win today with Mansfield with a Knill.

BBC reporting:

Brent Pilnick from BBC Radio Devon reports that Mansfield Town have forgotten to pack their kit, and will be wearing the Torquay United away strip for their League Two clash.

So now we will find out once and for all, which is luckier - home or away kit!

I think it's a ploy to see some more goals from a Torquay shirt.

How has cruise been left out ???? The lad comes in plays out of position for a month then he gets a chance to slot back in to his own position and he is bombed out, you couldn't make it up !!
Then you get an 18 year old loanee who gets a place over Lathrope I will give knill this he definitely knows how to upset his squad.
But onwards and upwards we will see if he is proved to be correct.

Nicho stays In while Cruise on the bench? I know Nicho had an alright game last week, but still, rather have cruise in the team at LB.

Watch Nicho score now. COME ON UNITED!!
Na, na na, NA NA NA NA, NA NA NA NA, TORQUAY!
