bowman just wide, our fist chance, sounds quite a lively game, rice had a couple things to clear up and downes just made a great blocking challenge, gateshead having the best of it so far, just!

What the hell is Benyon doing anywhere near the starting XI of a professional football club. He's scored a handful of goals in the last 5 years. I've given lifts to mates a handful of times over the last 5 years, I don't claim to be a taxi driver. I've mown the lawn similarly, I don't refer to myself as a 'professional gardener'. I think we will be made to pay for only having three recognised centre backs, the defence is definitely our weakest area of the team especially considering the full back positions. It sounds as though Cruise basically earned a short term deal by default as Hargreaves doesn't appear to have had any other options. If Pearce is out for a while I hope we can get someone else in on loan. Ives is a decent prospect but still needs time, I can see the better teams in this league making mincemeat of us. As I type - 0-2.
