OllieGull wrote:I think technically we might be safe if we win, not sure if this is right or I'm massively confused. Next week Boreham Wood (44 pts) play Guiseley (46 pts), so if Boreham Wood win, they'll go up to 47 points leaving Guiseley on 46 points which leaves them 4 behind us going into the final day. Likewise a draw or loss for Boreham will leave them 5 or 6 points behind us. All of this of course is based on us not winning another point.
If that is definitely the case, then a win today would see Torquay safe, assuming that Guiseley lose. When Boreham Wood play Guiseley, at least one of the sides will drop at least 2 points, and therefore, they both could not overtake the Gulls - one would be at least 1 point short of the 50, and so safety would be sure... I think..... :)

If every lower league player took 500 free kicks law of averages they'd get 1 right :) . Still well done Richards perfect timing for his 1. Also Fc Halifax have a worse goal difference than us, they need to will of their remaining match's, including Eastleigh home and FGR away.

Please stop panicking it's over we're safe.
