Also the Brett Williams who started to create a very nice little partnership with Keating... more than just him! Tune changed... case rested!leetufc wrote: ↑29 Aug 2017, 21:01 Pretty sure not signing Brett Williams isn't the cause of our issues. This is the same Brett Williams who was average (at best) for most of the season and turned it on for a few games at the end of the season and currently has one goal in 7 games this season, being an 88th minute sixth goal in a 6-1 win.
Nicho has gone, probably time to change the tune.

I am thinking that if Ronnie Moore was going to be the next manager then why on earth would it take so long to announce... either he got cold feet after watching us play (who'd blame him) or he wants squad investment which we know is unlikely at this stage. This is not going well...

Expecting some news today
Is that fact, or just hope?

Guy Henderson in the Herald Express has shortlisted Moore,Cox,Money and Micky Adams plus an unnamed candidate with playing experience in the Premier League.
Could be Robbie Fowler who does not need any money, huge property portfolio, but has often said he would fancy a crack at Management. Big risk.
We should know in next 48 hours.

Out of that group I would plump for Cox or Adams purely on an age basis. I'm not sure that anyone in their sixties would have the fire and passion. I definitely wouldn't want Money out of that group though.
I am quite surprised Bignot isn't on that list though. I wonder if Cox is now back in the frame if he watched the game at Woking.
The article alludes to Herrera working as number 2. Surely none of these candidates will entertain this fool being involved?
Goodness knows who the fifth bloke is.

Ronnie Moore out of the bunch for me....
Indeed Richard hill...
To be fair if we get a decent appointment and a few pennies for a loan or 2 it could be all changed in 6 games...

Interestingly (well, to me anyway) Mickey Adams has form for signing Jennison Myrie-Williams wherever he goes - one of the decent players I highlighted on the transfer rumours thread that is still unattached. I'd expect he'd be brought on board if Adams got the job (also Adams has signed Jordan Slew in the past, someone else currently unattached).
Training starting later than usual today...
Training????? Well well
