Still remember the old grandstand rocking when Steve Woods hit the woodwork v Birmingham, should have won that game
Not to mention Tony Bedeau's disallowed goal that certainly should have stood. Bloody bluenoses.

I watched Tony's goal in slow motion and couldn't see anything wrong with it,cheated by the ref,the chances we had that day we could have scored 3.

I remember it too! I personally had a mini-cardiac arrest for that; I was the manager at the Hills bookie around the corner. Woodsy's dad would always come in and back him for first goal, and on this day I quoted him 50 or 66-1. (i forget exactly which). Rather than his usual fiver, he had twenty quid on - this was back when *technically* we were supposed to ask 'permission' from the number crunchers in Leeds for that sort of bet. I took it anyway - what the hell, it's a centre-half of a league 2 team against a premier league side, and SW wasn't prolific even for a defender - and when Woods let rip from, what, 30yards? - it look certain to go in. That would have resulted in a bit of a stewards inquiry!

I saw a suggestion on Lymington's twitter feed (retweeted by the club - theirs not ours) that the match could kick off at 12.30 with live feed on BBC.
Has anyone heard this anywhere else?

No but I wouldn't be surprised as I noticed on Saturday they streamed an FA cup prelim match on IPlayer. It would make sense to show us, a bigger team at this level new manager etc.

Would the clubs get any money if it is streamed? If so, how much?

A week or so ago they streamed the FA Cup tie between one of the clubs i used to play for in the late 90's Maltby Main (which is near Rotherham) and Frickley Athletic. I have no idea how much extra money was made though.

Probably more than the prize money for the tie!

Doesn't James Gray now play for Frickley Athletic? Remember that stunning goal at Woking last season.

I wish they'd tell us if kick off is to be changed. I want to book train tickets.

Good news for the exiles if it is confirmed as such. All eyes around the world on our banana skin though - that will be a big test of character.

Nothing on our website or twitter but Lymington's twitter says 12.30 on BBC.
Early start then.
