Not sure how that ended up 2-1. 3-3 might have been fairer. Pretty devoid of ideas in the first half and fair play to Wotton for going more attacking in the second but it left us exposed quite a lot. Twitter suggested 3700 as attendance, if that’s correct, bloody amazing, on a champions league night as well. Where are all these people coming from?

Right decision to change formation

Just felt it was still lacking up top

Another win and you feel this team is still short of it's potential

A couple of quality additions needed for a very busy November to keep the momentum going

Fortunate to win that.
Good substitutions.
Team showed good spirit but it's fortunate Worthing's finishing was poor.
Crowd surprisingly quiet I thought.
And a good ref today.
Worthing looked a good team and I suspect with be in the top few by end of season - but so will we!

Fantastic win! ( plus correct score for me bonus)
Try to Plainmoor into a fortress. If 3700 in attendance fantastic crowd! We must be the envy of the lower leagues.
Certainly the feel good factor is back! Little extra cash to splash as by all accounts consortium was banking 2000 attendance or there abouts for there budget
Time for Warnock to call in some favours to boister the squad.
We are in a great position. I would have taken this 6 months ago that's for sure!
I think the future is bright very bright for Torquay

Fair summary. Stood in the pop I felt a collective mood that as soon as we sat deep at 2-1 it was a matter of time before we conceded and we certainly rode our luck at times.

Couple more wins will build confidence in the players and the crowd which will feed more success.

Really could do with another striker though…

Where did the ref get 6 minutes??? They very nearly equalised and worse it meant I missed the chip shop by 4 minutes. Gutted.

I'd agree with that 7 minutes played was completely ridiculous when there had been no injuries whatsoever in the second half and 2 of our substitutions were made at half time. Just farcical.

6 minutes additional time seemed excessive, but there were 5 separate substitution events, 2 goals, and a head injury assessment for 2 of our defenders. Plus, Hamon was booked for time wasting. Those add up to circa 5 minutes on their own. It was 'nervy'.

It takes 2 minutes to restart a game after a goal these days , every teams players run to the far corner to celebrate, something I don't like
so that's 4 minutes I assume is added on.

I don't know how we managed to hang on
but great gutsy defending. Second best football team but lots of ways to win a game. Worthing just like last season, excellent passing and possession team with some quick pacy players
Very positive of Wotton to make those changes and go 4-3-3 . Two great goals, tremendous strike from Mussa, it was in the net literally before the keeper moved and a gutsy brave Steve Cooper like header from Foulston

Fantastic crowd I can't remember when we had more for a Tuesday night match.

We tend to have a quiet crowd, unless a perceived injustice/red card against us.

Tbf the first half was flat, Wotton screamed "close him down" as the Worthing player ran in and then scored.
He sees the individual and collective mistakes and calls them out on it, every single time The goalie put a kick out of play, Wotton got his attention and then just shook his head. It's such a difference from the previous manager.

He was right about the midfield not doing what he'd told them, he spent a lot of time trying to get Oscar to do play in a different position. Brave subs, Johnson would have done that in the 78th minute.

Worthing were excellent, very slick, they should in reality have scored 5, that free header at the end. Their offside goal looked inside from our position.

Mussa looks to be improving, he obviously has issues getting fit, but a talented player. I thought our crossing was really improved, just didn't seem to quite fall for our player, Worthings did, but they then missed the target.

All in all a good evening, can't believe we're only 12 games in, feels like the seasons been going on forever.

Hard fought win against a good team, probably the best opposition I have seen us play at Plainmoor this season.

First half felt a pretty even affair - they got in behind us a couple of times but other than the goal I cannot remember Hamon being properly tested. The offside goal looked a very marginal call, so potentially got lucky. We had two good chances, a close range shot well saved from Ash and a header that produced a really good save (I think this was also Ash).

Was happy to see Wotton make attacking subs at half time and switching to a 4-3-3 with Mussa joining Ash and Cooke up top. It definitely made us look better going forward, but it also left us more exposed. On another day Worthing could have had 3 or 4 in the second half - all game it was too easy for them to play a couple of passes and have a player running at our goal.

Mussa showed his qualities to change a game, but difficult to see him starting at the moment still. I thought Craske and Dreyer had good games at the back - whilst our defence was easy to cut through we made a number of good recovery challenges and interceptions. Hamon - the jury is still out for me. He made some good 1v1 smothers today, and some good saves from distance, but I always feel he is liable to spill a cross/shot into the attackers path. He also played a suicidal pass to Hayfield on the edge of the area that should have cost us a goal but for a poor finish.

Overall good win, showed some qualities but also highlighted some weaknesses. We should be there or there about for the playoffs, if not challenging for the title.

Looking at the highlights, never in a million years is that guy offside for their disalowed goal. It all evens up over a season as they say, Welling, St Albans to name a few.
