Good post Shaunicus-pretty much agree with your assessment.
The Truro defence didn't play well and their keeper was poor-we took almost full advantage(missed a couple of sitters in the first half). I thought Atieno did well and I think he's a decent finisher-with decent service I think both Howe and him could score a fair few goals between them.
No obvious weaknesses in the squad-looking good and looking forward to Saturday/the season ahead.

We seem to have a lot of those - along with phone issues at TQ1.

You would think they might need to consider some alternative excuses!!

Or at least alternative phone line providers.

Wonder if there will be any highlights of Burnley, WSM and Truro friendlies up on GullsPlayer soon.

Shaunicus - Great summary, it was my first look at the side under Ling as well and I echo all your thoughts there.

The real high for me on saturday was Oastler, he just looked right at home at RB and going forward looked a real threat. Glad he got his goal, well deserved for a great display. I just begs belief that this talent was at the club last year under buckle and did bugger all. Maybe it is a combination of playing in a more favoured position and also having the backing of the manager.

Talking of the management team, I spent the second half near the dugout and was very impressed with the way they worked. taylor always making notes and getting the message across, while Ling just sat back and let things tick along nicely.

Great little set up at Truro, very welcoming. I am down in Newquay on hols for next couple weeks, so may just pop along to take in a game.

Came away from game feeling quite content with the way things are going. Working abroad most of this coming season, but I am looking forward to the dozen or so games that I will make already.
