Gullscorer wrote: Absolutely right about John Milton whom I omitted to mention and all credit to him as chief scout. But Paul Buckle was Torquay manager at the time and the ultimate responsibilty for signing O'Kane was Buckle's. Whatever anybody's reluctance to give credit to Buckle for anything due to their dislike of him on a personal level, there's no denying the positive things he did for Torquay, and signing O'Kane was one of those things. And wasn't it Buckle who brought Milton to the club?

No, oh and NO.

It wasn't bloody Buckle, he wouldn't know a good player if he was shagging his missus ;-)

Pretty sure he's available. Not sure how much Ling sees him being involved just yet though, from what he has said about this signing it sounds like more of an 'extended trial' where he can play a couple of first team games. Although, by the sounds of it he has some tremendous potential and i think a good 'delivery' winger like this guy seems to be labelled as would greatly help Howe find the net from crosses from deep.

This is also why I think Morris should stay in the team. His left peg is assured enough to create a chance from deep by getting a good cross in.

Going back to Eunan. I thought Buckle was in N.Ireland on a coaching course when he was tipped off about him and his signing came about through that.....
