Yet Martin Ling reckons he's worth 4 times what you in your delusion estimate. I know whose value I'd agree with...................

Ignoring the bonehead above, that is a fair point Hemmings is available for nothing. Bodin is no way five times better than him, so at fifty grand he is well overpriced in my view.

Minority Retort, again, from the real bonehead.

Wow I can see Dave being very hurt by that :na:brucie wrote:Ignoring the bonehead above, that is a fair point Hemmings is available for nothing. Bodin is no way five times better than him, so at fifty grand he is well overpriced in my view.
Haven't been on here for a long long time but thought I would re register, I see the Victor Meldrew of this site is still alive and moaning . Just got home from Swindon, I have to travel there 3 times a week on work and have done for the past year. Anyway, have it on good authority, ( well the guy has been spot on with stuff before, including Bodin to Crewe a week before it was mentioned anywhere else, and reckons he knows his old man). He says Swindon want £75k for Bodin and that Torquay is the club he wants to go to. Maybe if Ling likes him that much we will see a follow up bid halfway between the current £50k and £75k.
For me, if someone had offered me a straight swap Bodin for Ellis, baring in mind Ellis didn't want to be a Gull any longer I would have taken it. Sod it pay the £75k.

Ellis for Bodin? Would be happy with that!
Might be less (or nothing) in the pot due to the fact O'Kane might be staying so will have to see if this effects our plans.

Agree Spagull, if Billy Bodin develops anything like I personaly think he will, even at £75k TUFC will make money on him.
Come on pay it.

Yep, I'm with Spagull too, I'd be happy with that kind of deal.

brucie would sign Messi, Rooney, Vidic, Hart, Ronaldo on a free. Then again he probably thinks they are crap as well.knh31667 wrote:i would like to ask brucie a question.....supposing you could buy the players for next season who realistically would you try and sign??

I see Maths is not your strong point either Terry - if Hemmings is available on a free, Bodin would have to be infinitely better than him! :~Dbrucie wrote:Ignoring the bonehead above, that is a fair point Hemmings is available for nothing. No wonder he can never afford to get to games, imagine all those online bookies rubbing their hands with glee every time he logs on
