I suspect TUFC are not always up to speed when it comes to setting out clearly in writing what has been agreed verbally.

In this case I sincerely hope Chris Brass gets his terms of employment in writing without undue delay.

Directors please take note. This is important. We need to be professional. Many folks in Devon are not. I was born in the County and still today people are slow and lack urgency. Delay can be fatal.

On a similar tack, I have it on decent authority that Nicky Forster was offered the manager's job 2 summers ago. He received a call halfway down the M4 to say that Lingy had gazumped him. Not a very professional way to carry on...

It should be remembered that Andy Candy is an HR expert-sure things will get better now he's CEO.

It is a littlle worrying that the Brass situation has changed from he will sign in the next 48 hours (which was over 2 weeks ago) to now being reported in the Herald as "is considering a draft contract to join the Gulls"

You might have this on "Good Authority" but, to be honest, you DON'T know the truth of the matter. I really do not think we are being fair to our club by "Highlighting" our supposed failings and lack of professionalism. After all, you are referring to an alleged incident that took place over 2 years ago. :@

This type of comment is typical these days of those found on this forum...adds nothing to the topic and is abusive. The moderators seemingly can't be bothered to address the situation.

A compelling argument. Who knew Bartlett could use a computer?

It's not easy pleasing everyone, we try to ignore silly comments and not give them the attention they crave. I have warned user, lets move along nothing to see here.

Why would I need a compelling argument? There was no discussion taking place as far as I'm concerned.

As Louis says, just relax.

PS Essexgull, I HAD contributed to the topic, only for somebody to tell me to keep my story to myself.

I look forward to seeing you add to your 4 posts, and take the forum from strength to strength.

Having read most of those posts, I'd have to say no. :na:
