for all his lack of pace, don't think you can doubt Nico's committment to the cause; & he came very close to scoring at Oxford....................

Thought we are playing Burton tonight. Why this talk about the team for Northampton?

Bump this one up, Andy do you want to change this to Northampton on/off, to save a new one being started.

Reckon this one'll be off too. So much rain due to come our way. Could do with not being stitched up again although I have no doubt that if it's called off on Monday afternoon, the internet met experts will be out telling us all what a farce it was to drop the game so early when no rain materialises overnight and the pitch is playable.

Matt.

Hope this one will be on. Tomorrow is supposed to be a bit better and Monday looks okay-ish but as Matt posted, more heavy rain forecast for Tuesday ..... let's hope it misses us - now is a good time to play the Cobblers before their new signings settle in. Listening to bits of the Argyle game today, it seems that Henderson (?), a winger !!!, is a danger man. Connell and Sinclair didn't seem to be doing much .......

unfortunately I can't see this game going on, and I can see us facing them in a couple of weeks time and losing, it's always the Torquay way :'(

A read through both forums suggests that neither side did a thing today in the Cobblers v Plymouth match and that, in dreadful conditions, Duke chucked into his own net the only two shots of the whole game (and one of those was a cross).

I do hope we beat them, it would be just our luck to lose in a rearranged fixture to a side chock full of loanees they didn't have on the original date.

Matt.

Judging by the forecast today and tomorrow I would imagine the pitch should be playable on Monday so any decision is likely to depend on what happens on the day again which doesn't look good at the moment. I can see Tuesday being another day of wait and see with maybe 2 or 3 inspections.
we really could do with playing Northampton now before Knill starts to work his magic on their players!! A good win would then set us up for the easy trip to Chesterfield.
