Our pitch is hardly a bowling green, so I doubt the inevitable ploughed field in The World's Least Fuel Efficient Town will be too much of a worry for us. From what we've seen of that division so far, we really didn't ought to get out panties in a bunch over this fixture.

Oh well, another paid for overnight stay. The club would be as well buying their own hotel as they seem to spend half the season in and around that area ffs.

Probably finding a pattern where none truly exists, but for those matches where we've had an overnight stay this season, we've, more often than not, been utter, utter batwank.

If we get through to the 4th Round our match against Braintree at Plainmoor will be postponed, which means we won't play a Saturday league home game until 28th February and that could be postponed too,as its the date of the FA Trophy semi-final second leg.
Potentially then, the next Saturday league game could be as far away as the 7th March! If we progress and get drawn away in the FA Trophy, the only matches at Plainmoor will be the re-arranged league fixtures in mid-week.Gates are always lower for these and would only partially compensated for,if we get drawn at home in the 4th Round. The semi-final 1st or second leg will at home and might attract a decent gate, TV coverage?,and some more money to add to that we're given by the FA as we progress but the potential to lose so many Saturday home league games is a worry.

At least CH will have something to blame rather than someone.

Hemel's home game against Watford tonight has been postponed.... doesn't bode well for Saturday if the photos of their pitch are anything to go by.
