I'm not even sure if I should post something to give him the oxygen of a bit of publicity but who should I spot in the advertising break in the painful test cricket?

Yes, it's Rhodri Giggs announcing who he is to all and sundry and advertising for Paddy Power.

I suppose that we should forgive and forget and perhaps he is a reformed character.
Didn’t he nick club shirts and sell them on if I remember?

Dale Tonge - one of the (many) candidates for worst-ever TUFC player.

Very good player for Rotherham but never for us
Seemed lazy and uninterested, just picking up a
(very big) wage each week. Wouldn't say he was our worst ever right back though, I would give that award to Dudley Lewis - now how fans remember him ?

My memory is that he was a kid (17, 18, maybe?) who was kicked out because he was nicking stuff from other players in the dressing room.

It's entirely possible that I'm misremembering, though.

I just thought it was because he was a complete tool.

Dudley Lewis rings a distant bell. When did he play for TUFC?

On checking it was 1993 and he only played 9 games for us but he certainly made an impact on the memories of a few popsiders. Towards the end of his career and he must have been decent once as he played 250 games for Swansea and a cap for Wales but he was absolutely shocking for us - and I'm talking worse than Dale Tonge

Ben Gerring: what an absolute thunderc*nt: video of him in the stands today as he serves his ban actually starting a 'We Hate Torquay' chant. It's one thing to give some shit back under severe provocation from the Popside (as I understand it), but you have to be a grade A **** to do this.
