Cold spell expected to end by weekend.Groundsman might do enough to get the referee to allow the game to go ahead, but not enough to make the pitch very difficult for the away team!

Just found these pictures of Hemel's pitch on there forum. They weren't joking with how bad it was!

Maybe the tie could be decided by a game of hopscotch :slap:

Semi-final draw takes place tomorrow, Monday 9 February at 1pm. The teams are:

Torquay United
North Ferriby United
Dover Athletic or Bath City (4th Round replay at Bath Tuesday 10 February 7:45pm.)
Halifax Town or Wrexham (4th Round tie at Halifax Tuesday 10 February 7:45pm.)

Semi-final ties to be played over two legs on Saturday 21 February and Saturday 28 February.

Assuming they beat Dover in their replay, I'd like to see us play Bath City (who beat Bristol Rovers in the First Round Proper at the Memorial Stadium on 13 December) in the Semi. They are our nearest club in the competition and should give us two well attended 'local' Derbies, with a reasonably good chance of us reaching the Final. It's a long haul to North Ferriby, Wrexham and Halifax..

The Final takes place at Wembley on Sunday 29 March.

As Bath aren't actually in the semis yet, tomorrow I would like us to get North ferriby. I agree I would probably have bath if they were definitely through, but as they're not I would rather not risk playing Dover who have turned themselves into a good side. Defo don't want the winners of Halifax vs Wrexham, as Halifax are a good team and Wrexham are like us - under performed in the league and are throwing everything at the trophy!

As it stands the best draw is...

1 North Ferriby
2 Dover Athletic or Bath City
3 Halifax Town or Wrexham

Thought the draw is at Midday not 1pm as it's on TalkSport from 11.30am?

Is it on TalkSport? Last time the round was drawn I tuned in for most of the morning and didn't hear a thing about it!
