I spoke to Ronnie Nelson’s parents after the game and said to them how good I thought he played. Ask them to tell him that and lots of other fans around us agreed at the same time, so hopefully they will take that home and help him stay here. I thought he did exactly what a half was meant to do was really impressed with him. His family seemed really nice.

Just back from a vibrant Plainmoor with 3,642 in the ground but I suspect a good few bought a ticket as a donation as well.

A dream start for Aaron Downes as we we were 2 up after 28 minutes with goals from Jarvis and Ash.

The key moment came in the 2nd minute of 2 minutes of added time at the end of the first half as Aveley made it 2-1 from a penalty in front of a Full Family Stand.

Aveleys second goal after 51 minutes was a wonder strike on the volley from No 3 Eduino Vaz who shot from well over 25 yards into the top right corner of the net. He will never score a goal like it again in my opinion.

Not for the first time this season we failed to mark a player in this area giving him a clear site of goal with no one within 15 yards of the goal scorer.

We looked committed and there were a number of very good performances. I thought our loan signing from QPR Arkell Jude- Boyd had a very good game especially in the first half.

Superb support and a record 50/50 Prize of £1,010 going to a young man from the Pop Side.

Next week is going to be very important. I so wish I was a multi millionaire!!!

The actual football was poor in reality and the penalty right on half time did for us. Relieved to still have a point in the end.

But none of that mattered in the scheme of things. A much smaller than it looked crowd of 3600+ but a slightly subdued atmosphere mainly probably having the wind taken out its sails by the penalty.

What felt like a day where all were united, was spoilt by the presence of two of the architects of this demise and sorry state, that being the odious and arrogant, George Edwards and the complicit Mel Hayman. He rightly got abuse and sitting looking pissed off when we scored just further aggravated everyone. He must have known that being there would antagonise everyone but it does suggest that in reality nothing has changed just yet and he is there to serve his master

I’ve certainly stopped short of contributing to the ‘assist operational costs’ defined Club fund presently as it is not a stretch at all for remaining Directors to consider their involvement as “assisting operational costs” before we actually do or do not enter administration. A appointed administrator AFTER we have entered administration may or may not see things differently.

Today needed our support for many reasons other than the outgoing Chairman who is still owner, but support for him and Edwards is not there for most and rightly hasn’t been for some time. Support for Downes, the players and a secured future without Osborne and Edwards is our look out.

The devil is always in the detail with the wording and despite what is on the official site, first from Osborne, second one assumes from Edwards, we are not privy to that detail or how it is interpreted by those overseeing matters prior to Administration being entered into, what ‘and to assist operational costs’ actually means when it comes to what interest (and direction) Osborne, Edwards and Hayman have in amounts accrued and expenditure required for those operational costs. Some are obvious, of course.

I raised concerns on TFF and elsewhere - not alone in that respect - and a prominent poster on another site shortly after posted that he saw that fund as propping up Edwards and Hayman. I wouldn’t go that far necessarily, but I do understand why he might think that and it is not a black and white for me, it is a grey until when/if an administrator is calling all shots, hence hesitation regarding that particular fund.

I’m not an accountant, I would stress, and I am sure there are some suitably qualified amongst our fan base who might see things similarly or differently in terms of “grey over black and white”.

Well, three of us went from Plymouth to the match on Saturday; nothing to do with the current debacle, as we'd booked a hotel and tickets months ago. We can't get tickets at Argyle, so we opt for our favoured alternative - Torquay. The atmosphere was fantastic and sounded to us like a lot more than 3,600. Best Players wete no 9 Jarvis and the no. 11, with an honourable mention to our own no. 18 Jenkins-Davis - at least in the first half. Negatives: the daft roadworks on thet seafront which will need to be sorted before the summer season!!

Many thanks for your support Rory - I remember Argyle fans were brilliant last time we were in trouble.
