Dartford finished second last season. What happened?
Form
Eastbourne 14 points from last 10 games.
Havant 12 points from last 10 games
Torquay 10 points from last 10 games
Taunton 7 points from last 10 games
Dover 5 points from last 10 games.
Dartford 3 points from last 10 games.
Hemel 2 points from last 10 games.
Could go to the last game for us or we may just sneek home due to Tauntons heavy amount of fixtures and Hemels and Dartfords poor form.

Slightly off topic, but does Torquay United still employ Peter Johnson who is to recruitment what Michael McIntyre is to comedy?

Interesting. If that form continues Dartford & Hemel go down.

I think there is a good chance that we will only pick up two points in the five remaining games for a total of 47 but our goal difference will mean that we can only go down if three of those currently below us get 49 points or more. Don't think that will happen.

We have now conceded 13 goals in the last 5 games. 2.6 goals per game. We are clearly getting worse.
I think we still could just scrap over the line. Pack the defence and midfield.

standupsitdown in your post yesterday you missed one of Tauntons games namely Slough at Home on 11th April.
Taunton look very vulnerable. I think they have lost 5 on the spin, have a very dodgy pitch, and could well lose the next 4 which include Farnborough away who are in very good form.

Thanks - I'll add Slough game to list and repost with update after games tonight & Thursday.
Taunton have hardly picked up a point for ages other than consecutive wins over Weymouth & us.
Yes they are very vulnerable. They may need to beat us & Hemel to stay up but even then need to find a point or two elsewhere.

Taunton 0 - Maidstone 1 tonight. Every little helps. . .

Taunton really are in trouble.
Effectively 6 points behind us and now down to two games in hand.
Four difficult away games to come.

Truro v Hemel tonight at Gloucester. I heard from Maidstone fans that there were 4 lights not working resulting in dark areas last night. They reckon some refs would have postponed the game.
Really could do with Truro winning this.

Hemel have all bottom teams in their remaining fixtures, so should be able to get out of trouble.
My four to go down are;
Dover
Havant & Waterlooville
Taunton
Dartford.
I will be happy to finish 20th! A total disaster when everyone thought we were certs to go back to NL with Yeovil.

Updated after midweek games:
Hemel 43 48 -15
Welling 42 48 -16
Torquay 41 45 -8
Eastbourne 41 41 -26
Dartford` 42 40 -18
Taunton 38 40 -21
Havant 42 36 -33
Dover 42 26 -33
Dover are already down.
Three from the rest to be relegated.
It now looks to be between Torquay, Eastbourne, Dartford & Taunton as to who gets the last two relegation places. Havant could possibly stay up but probably only if the other 3 don’t get enough points to catch us anyway. Hemel & Welling could still go down but less likely now.
So we need to finish above two of Eastbourne, Dartford & Taunton.
One win to 48 points and we should probably be safe although it may still go to the last day and rely on others to drop points then.
Just a draw at Taunton might be enough but we’d very probably be replying on others to lose last day. Defeat at Taunton would not be good unless we’ve picked up points before then.
With our fixtures (Taunton & Truro in middle of their run of many games in short time, then Havant who will probably be down) we really should be able to get two wins which would very probably be enough.
Havant
Dartford - home
Welling – away
Braintree – home
Torquay – away
Their win on Saturday and other teams dropping points means they still have a small chance of staying up.
To overtake us even if we get no more points they would need 3 wins & a draw, including beating us.
Taunton
Hampton - away
Braintree – away
Slough - home
Farnborough – away
Torquay – home
Weston – home
Hemel - home
Their next three fixtures are hard and their form poor. Plus a lot of games in a short time.
If they lose the next 4 and win the last 3 easier games that would be 49 points.
Two wins for 46 points may be best they can manage.
Dartford
Havant – away
Worthing – home
Yeovil – away
Truro – home
Only 4 games left 2 of which are difficult and poor form.
6 points max? Takes them to 46
Eastbourne
Weymouth – home
Truro – away
Chippenham – home
Weston – away
Braintree – away
Some winnable games.
2 wins takes them to 47 but potentially could pick up a few more points.
Torquay
Welling - away
Truro – away
Bath – away
Taunton – away
Havant – home
Poor away form but 3 or four winnable games.
Hemel
Dover – home
Slough – home
Taunton – away
Only 3 games left but not that difficult.
One win and they are pretty much safe. And they play Dover on Saturday.
Welling
Torquay – home
Havant - away
Weymouth – home
Slough – away
Only 3 games left but not that difficult.
One win and they are pretty much safe.
