Chris Robertson released by PNE-worth re-signing if Saah/Downes don't agree deals.

I thought he still had 12 months on his contract and they were open to offers for him?Behind-the-Gulls wrote:Chris Robertson released by PNE-worth re-signing if Saah/Downes don't agree deals.
Edit: just seen this online: http://www.thisissouthdevon.co.uk/Prest ... z2TvUE4rxJ they really can't fancy him much anymore to release him with 12 months left.

Shame things didn't work out for Chris at Preston. I would have him back tomorrow, but expect his wage demands would be too high.
I think its unlikely that the board would have Jake Robinson back after he trashed his hotel room like a petulant kid!!
Jake Robinson is so one footed you could almost count it as a disability. PLEASE DON'T SIGN HIM ALAN!

I would have Robbo back, but not in preference to Downsey or Saahsy. Hope they both sign.

Would class him as a striker still, like Zebs, winger/strikerferrarilover wrote:Goals is a bit of a funny thing to ask of a winger, but it seemed the only quantifiable stat to use. You're right about Zedders in post two, none of us could deny his talent, it's just that his talent will be completely wasted when he inevitably finds himself at Her Majesty's pleasure.
Matt.
We'll be back...

What's his primary role then, Sam? Does he prioritise getting to the byline to cross the ball, or being in the middle to score from the cross provided by someone else?

Yes. Assuming Saah, Downes and Benyon sign the only fresh faces I think we will see are a right-back, winger and striker. Hopefully all of very good quality, probably on quite a wage. That will give us a nice small squad with the kids pushing for places too.gullno4 wrote:just a thought, not sure if it's been raised elsewhere, but do we think knill sees Morris filling the role of the tall central midfielder?
