Really happy about this appointment. Chris Brass, too, please!

Hope Brass follows him in but think this is good news for the club. Bury and Scunny next year - should make those games more interesting!
Not sure where things lie with Taylor/Brass but hope for some clarity on this shortly.

Expected but great news. Also hope there might be something regarding Brass. I couldn't see it anywhere but I imagine he will get the same deal as Ling - 1 year rolling?

fantastic news!
Great News!
Really looking forward to seeing what sort of squad he puts together in the summer. With only 8 senior players contracted, he has a really good opportunity to build his "own" squad and hopefully we can be competing at the other end of the table next season.
Like others have said, hope we see Chris Brass back too as they seem to work really well together.

Brilliant news. Hope to see Brass confirmed as assistant soon, the retained list revealed, and some decent attacking players coming into the squad.

I also approve of the appointment. It is instructive to note that everyone (i.e. the correspondents on this site) seem to be enthusiastic, remembering the certain amount of disquiet and lack of enthusiasm when Mt. Ling was appointed.

Im Sure Alan Knill would of requested brass as his assistant at the time of his appointment or he has been told that he has to take taylor who I thought would be gone by now at the same time as Lingy!

I don't think for one moment that Taylor will stay.
Great news - he seems like a really decent bloke. No doubt wodger will be on in a minute congratulating Knill on his appointment after telling us all yesterday that Knill wouldn't accept an appointment with this board.
What a billy bell end :slap:
