[dir=rtl][/dir]Do we think this game is going to be played? How’s the pitch?? Don’t really want another postponement and a cluster of rearranged games. Thoughts??

By the looks of it the bad parts of the pitch is covered at the moment but we will have to see what the weather is like for the rest of the week hopefully okay to play. Don’t want a fixture congestion

Fingers crossed, but the forecast up to and including Saturday is again very poor. I’d have thought an early in principle conversation with Dartford about a fall back date for the game in the middle of next week (should the pitch be unplayable on Saturday) would be sensible. The weather is forecast to improve a lot on Sunday, and there is likely to be far less rain next week. Given there are so few weeks left in the season it would be sensible to consider options early if the forecast for this week turns out to be right.

I'm coming down for the game Saturday so hoping it won't be called off - or if it is that they'll make a decision on Friday.
The forecast seems to be mainly light rain Thursday, Friday & Saturday, with not too much on Friday and the heavy rain to start early evening Saturday.

Looks like gales and rain again Saturday, hope the club have bought some more covers. We really don't want another game off. As someone else said the weather looks better after that , if any doubt put it back to monday/tuesday next week

Forecast looking a bit better. Quite a lot of light rain Thursday & Friday but then dry Saturday morning and the heavy rain doesn’t come until the evening.

Let's hope that's the case. Forecasts of 56 mph
south westerly wind gusts at 3pm though. Let's hope we keep the ball on the ground !

I used to hate the wind in my playing days! A real game disrupter making it quite a lottery.

You shouldn't have had baked beans on toast as your pre match meal, didn't worry Alan Shearer though he always had chicken and beans

No covers on the pitch tonight as of 1700hrs. Hopefully the wind has dried it out.

The forecast for Saturday looks worse by the hour - 70mph winds expected in some places in the West Country. It would be no surprise to see yet another postponement, which would be a shame because Dartford's 2 best midfielders are unavailable for the match.

I'm still hopeful. It looks as if the rain will be light until Saturday evening and at the moment forecast is for dry Saturday morning.
Certainly going to be windy but that shouldn't cause a postponement unless it's so bad as to be a safety issue.

A postponement of this match will be a nightmare. The scenario Woking go 6 points clear, will really put the pressure on us. This game has to be ON.

If anyone has the Met Office app, the rainfall forecast over the next 24 hours shows no rain in Torbay so should be ok. Looks like we might just get away with it. Will have to check again at 3 or 4pm today to see how things look at kick off time tomorrow.
